Club soccer returns to our screens this weekend, and we've got a big one at Old Trafford. Well, not as big as it normally might be, but two huge clubs are still going to battle. This Saturday, Manchester United hosts Tottenham Hotspur, who are still searching for their first league victory of the season. After narrowly avoiding relegation last year, the Spurs are not off to a great start, as they currently sit at the very bottom of the table. Will three weeks off be enough time for them to regroup and pull off a miracle? Find out with our expert EPL picks below.
Here's how we've done so far this club season. Not too shabby if I do say so myself, but let's see if we can keep it going all year long.

Like I said, the Spurs come into this contest winless in their first five league matches. But now is not the time to trust them. Although the advanced metrics do say Tottenham is underperforming, scoring just 0.40 goals per game compared to 0.99 expected, along with allowing 1.60 instead of 1.54 expected, this is a tall task on the road.
I expect some back and forth, so we should be good for some goals, because United are also a team that is "underperforming" as well. They score and concede 1.60 goals per match in five EPL contests, but their xG is 1.93 and their xG allowed is 1.37. Should we see things return to normal? Perhaps, but I'll back the hosts in this spot.

In my eyes, this is getting plenty of juice off of Manchester United's moneyline. They've lost their last two at home, so they need something positive for fans who may be disgruntled going into the international break. Plus this is a chance to kick another big six EPL club while their down. You can't pass that up.
If you have confidence in United, their moneyline is just fine for the juice. If you'd like to "hedge" this wager, take United 1-0 for (+850). Their team total could be a nice parlay piece, but keep in mind, we need them to score two to get over this number anyways. A 1-1 draw hurts, a 1-0 United win would really sting, but I have this as a 2-0 match.
The Spurs will have to spend too much time defending to even think about generating offense, something they've struggled to do. They've had an average of just 1.02 expected goals on the road, including just 0.47 against Brentford. They were shutout 3-0 in that match. I see something similar happening.
United held Manchester City to just two shots on goal and 0.99 xG when they came across town, and Sabah generated just 0.92 xG in their UCL match. Despite the fact that Manchester United head to Madrid to face Atlético on Tuesday, this would be a perfect tune up spot coming back from the break.
Prediction: Manchester United Win 2-0 (+850)
