Best Bet: Under 2.5 (-110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

Both of these teams are not great, although, D.C. United is in a playoff spot at the moment. Regardless, the offenses are both tied for third worst in the Eastern Conference in goals scored this year, but the back lines are performing well. Since the World Cup break, Toronto has played two matches on the road, in Montreal and New England. Both ended completely scoreless. Toronto produced just one shot on target combined in those games, but held their opponents to just three in each.

I expect them to brace for impact against D.C.

They played the Dynamo to a 1-1 draw in Houston on Wednesday, and I don't expect they'll have to defend much in this match. The pressure will be on them to score, which I think they do, but very late in the match.

Prediction: D.C. United Wins 1-0 (+700)

The Fire are feisty. They almost snuck away with a win in Miami on Wednesday in Robert Lewandowski's debut. He only played 62 minutes, so I expect him to get the start again this weekend. His teammates will be hungry to get him a goal (or two) and finally find the scoresheet. This team is already one of the highest scoring in the Eastern Conference, netting nearly two per game.

New York City is very defensive minded, especially at home. I don't think they will be too aggressive, especially seeing Lewy for the first time. Look for them to brace for impact and hope for a scoreless draw. If you have more stones, feel free to take the Fire on the moneyline for +170 or better.

Prediction: Chicago Wins 2-0 (+1300)

I don't typically bet overs, but I do like this one. St. Louis has been goalapalooza since the break and all season really, but they've been conceding a ton recently as well. They beat Sporting KC 3-2 and then the LA Galaxy 3-1 since MLS play resumed. However, they have won three straight in the league and are unbeaten in their last six contests, scoring over two goals per match over that stretch.

Colorado is already allowing 1.5 goals per match while scoring 1.62 of their own. This match could really open up with St. Louis at home. We saw a 1-0 STL win at Colorado back in May, where both teams saw red cards. There were also 20 total shots, 12 corner kicks, and 37 combined fouls. Things might get chippy, and I think it's going to lead to aggressive play, giving us plenty of chances.

Prediction: St. Louis City Wins 3-1 (+1100)
