Group H has been one of the wilder quads in this 2026 FIFA World Cup. Prior to the tournament, it seemed like things were easy to decipher. Spain was the top dawg, followed by Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, and Cape Verde, who were just happy to be here, so we thought. But with just one group stage match to go, things are very much up in the air, as Spain and Uruguay go head to head today to decide the group. Keep reading for our soccer analyst's picks.

Spain is on top of the group with four points and a +4 goal differential. Uruguay and Cape Verde are both tied with two points after two draws, but Uruguay have the slight nod on goals scored, the next tiebreaker. Today, Uruguay could top the group with a win, but in theory, so could Cape Verde if things go their way.
Regardless, I will be focusing on the bigger dawgs, as the Spanish likely only need one point to clinch this group. Now, I am sitting with an exact dual in this group, with Uruguay first and Spain second for +500. Since that likely isn't coming home, now is the time to look to make up for the loss.

You could play this at 3.5 for plus money if you want, but after being burned multiple times this tournament by late goals, I'll take the extra pillow. Spain just need a point to secure the group. Does that mean they will come out extra cautious? Probably not, because in my eyes, they are still looking to find their groove.
Spain laid a stinker in their opener against Cape Verde, but immediately turned it around against Saudi Arabia. Look for them to flip that same switch today against Uruguay. The Spanish should be able to get a win without having to score too many, as I'm not convinced Uruguay will be able to find the back of the net against this back line.
If you wanted to play this the other way, you could take Spain ML/Over 1.5 for +116, but you run the risk of Spain going up 1-0 and then sitting back for the rest of the match.
