The UEFA Champions League is back today as we have nine matches across Europe for the 2nd week of league phase play. After one week, we had 15 teams come out victorious, gaining 3 points for their team, while 6 other squads played to a draw and gained 1 point in the standings. We still have a long way to go until this first phase of matches is over, so let’s take advantage of today!
Here are today’s matches, so let’s take a look and see if we can find any spots worth betting in the UEFA Champions League today.
- RB Sazburg vs Brest
- VfB Stuttgart vs Sparta Prague
- Arsenal vs Paris Saint-Germain
- Barcelona vs Young Boys
- Bayer Leverkusen vs AC Milan
- Borussia Dortmund vs Celtic
- Inter Milan vs Red Star Belgrade
- PSV vs Sporting CP
- Slovan Bratislava vs Manchester City
I’ve got a couple angles I am looking at, so below are my best bets in the UCL today. For our expert’s soccer picks, go to this page here!

Arsenal vs PSG Best Bets
Best Bet: Arsenal ML (-136) BetOnline
We are backing the Gunners today at home to take down Paris Saint-Germain. Arsenal played Atalanta to a scoreless draw in Italy last UCL match, but now they get to play in front of their home crowd. The Gunners have had no problem scoring the ball, netting 11 total goals in their last 3 matches. This team is in very good form, and I trust their backline to play lockdown defense today.
This is not your older brother’s PSG. There is no Messi, Neymar and Mbappe up top. In fact, they even lost Ousmane Dembele as well, who is being sat for disciplinary reasons. This serious hinders the Paris Saint-Germain attack that was already a little iffy to begin with. Sure, they beat Girona 1-0 at home in their first UCL match, but this is different. While they are playing good soccer in Ligue 1, Arsenal would tear that league apart. This will be a true wake up call for PSG who really hasn’t played a team of this caliber since being eliminated by Dortmund in last year’s UCL competition.
Prediction: Arsenal 1-0 (+750)
Bonus Bet: Arsenal ML/Under 2.5 (+350) 0.25u
Taking a bit of a stab here as well, I just like this price too much. I don’t think Arsenal blows PSG out of the water, but I do trust them to shutout their French visitors.
Bayer Leverkusen vs AC Milan Best Bets
Best Bet: Under 3.5 (-140) BetOnline
Of course, we had to put an under on the card, and trust me, this one will be sweaty. AC Milan has netted goals in every match of all competitions this season, scoring 2.14 goals per match. The were beaten by Liverpool at home in their last UCL match, losing 3-1 after failing to stop the attack. Today, I think AC Milan focuses a little more on the defensive side of things, playing very slow and meticulous soccer, picking their spots very carefully.
Leverkusen is also scoring at will, totaling 21 goals over the course of 8 matches, scoring 2.63 goals per match. They’ve also netted 4+ in 3 of their L4 matches, so why the heck are we taking this under?
Defensively, I will admit, Leverkusen is allowing plenty of scoring and opportunities. They have just 2 shutouts so far this year, but one of them came on the road in UCL play. Leverkusen will look to ride that momentum into a solid outing hosting AC Milan. With both teams being very dangerous up top, I see the managers focusing primarily on defense and slowing down their opponent.
While I do think we see at least a couple goals in this matchup, I don’t think the scoring gets out of hand. Give me the under with some juice for a sweaty afternoon.
Prediction: Bayer Leverkusen Wins 2-1 (+750)
