With more than half of the singles seeds already eliminated through the first three rounds at Wimbledon, the door is open for surprise winners to emerge. But both men's and women's top seeds and favorites are still in the mix, and both will be action as the fourth round commences today at the All England Club.
In men's singles, most of the eliminated seeds are further down the list. Eight of the top ten seeds have reached the final 16, including the top trio of Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, and Felix Auger-Aliassime.
In women's singles, top seed Aryna Sabalenka is still on course to try to claim her fifth Grand Slam singles title, and a couple of potential obstacles were removed from her path yesterday.
All of Friday's women's singles matches were won by the favorite, and favorites had the edge on Saturday as well, winning five of eight matches. But of the three favorites that fell, two were No. 2 seed Elena Rybakina (lost to Elise Mertens in straight sets) and No. 3 seed Iga Swiatek (lost to Alexandra Eala in straight sets), both former Wimbledon champions.
Swiatek's loss means that there will once again not be a repeat champion in women's singles, continuing a run that began in 2017.
It also guaranteed a third different women's singles champion in the year's first three Slams for the 11th year in a row.
The outlook is all the rosier for Sabalenka, but will she have a successful journey into the quarterfinals? Both she and Sinner are in action today, and they are both firm favorites at Lucky Rebel and other top online sportsbooks.

Wimbledon Day Seven Predictions and Picks
Karolina Muchova -2.5 Games (-112 at Lucky Rebel) vs. Barbora Krejcikova
These two Czech stars have experienced notable success, with Krejcikova winning two Grand Slam singles titles (2021 French Open and Wimbledon two years ago) in addition to 10 Grand Slam doubles (seven) and mixed doubles (three) titles and Muchova reaching the 2023 French Open singles final and three other Slam semifinals.
But they somehow have not faced off in a competitive match since an ITF clash in Prague in 2018.
Who will set up a potential matchup with Sabalenka? Krejcikova has been solid in her three wins, and as a former champion, she knows her way around grass.
However, a healthy and locked in Muchova has few equals on the WTA Tour, and she enters the fourth round on a seven-match win streak after winning the Bad Homburg Open in Germany the week prior to Wimbledon.
It wouldn't surprise me if this one went three sets, so there is some risk in taking the spread here. But I really like how Muchova is playing at the moment, and I feel confident she will keep it up today to move on to her first Wimbledon quarterfinal since 2021.
Belinda Bencic/Coco Gauff Over 22.5 Games (-110 at Lucky Rebel)
Both Bencic and Gauff advanced to the last 16 with three-set wins in the third round. Bencic defeated No. 19 seed Anna Kalinskaya 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (10-6), while Gauff defeated Claire Liu 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2.
That was Gauff's second straight three-set match, as she also went the distance in the second against Solana Sierra in a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (10-7) win.
There's a very good chance this matchup goes three as well. Bencic and Gauff have faced off seven times previously, and five of those contests have gone three sets, including their lone meeting this year in Miami.
This is their first meeting on grass, so there aren't any previous results on this surface to support this side. Still, even though the under has shorter odds, the over looks like the better move based on the history between these two and Gauff's difficulties in dispatching her last two opponents.
