The WNBA postseason is underway and we've been off to a crazy start. The #1 seeded Minnesota Lynx were swept by the New York Liberty in Round 1 and now both the #2 seed Golden State Valkyries and #3 seed Las Vegas Aces sit on the brink of elimination.
Tonight we've got just one game on the docket, the Aces will host the Indiana Fever with a spot in the semi-final on the line. Winner moves on and loser fades into the off-season.
With so much on the line tonight, I've got just two plays. Lock in with me and let's talk lady hoopers.

Before 2022, #1 and #2 seeded teams in the WNBA would get first and second round byes in the playoffs. A'ja Wilson was drafted in 2018 and the Aces missed the playoffs in her first season. Since then she's finished with at least a first round bye and until 2022 she had never played in the first round.
Aj'a was also a perfect 6-0 in the first round from 2022 to 2024; never even playing a Game 3 until last year against the Seattle Storm. Wilson played 37 of a potential 40 minutes, she scored 38 points, shot 14/26 from the field and 10/11 from the free throw line.
In her career, Wilson averaged 35.1 minutes per game in the playoffs and so far in this series it's been more of the same. Unfortunately, Wilson took just 11 shots in Game 2, finishing 5/11 with 22 points and 9 rebounds. She went 12/13 from the free throw line and 6/7 in Game 1.
The Fever haven't had an answer for A'ja so far in this series and with tonight's high stakes; I'm expecting everything to run through her.
Last season when A'ja put up 38 in Game 3 against the Storm, it came directly after a 21 point night on the road; in which she shot 7/12 from the field and the Aces lost.
Tonight she comes into this game off a 21-point night and a Game 2 loss on the road.

Friend of the program and someone we've bet on a ton this year, Kelsey Mitchell.
After an abysmal start to the series, with their season on the line; Mitchell and Caitlin Clark combined for 53 of the team's 99 points and managed to stave off elimination.
Mitchell shot 44% from the field, but went 3/4 from beyond the arc and 9 of her 26 points came in a tightly contested 4th quarter. The Fever entered the 4th up 12 points, but the Aces wouldn't give up.
Jackie Young and A'ja combined for 24 points in the final frame and for the Fever it was Mitchell that lead the way with 9 of the team's final 27 points in the game.
Mitchell also had a career year this year at 30 years old and it all started in last year's postseason. She averaged 22.3 points per game in last year's playoffs and ended the regular season this year averaging 24.7 points per game.
She's played the Aces 3 times in the regular season this year; averaging 27.3 points per game on shooting splits of 48/38/86. She's been fantastic this year and even better in the team's biggest matchups of the year.
Tonight with their season on the line, I'm expecting a big night from both Mitchell and Clark.
