Week five ladies and gentlemen! We are back again after an incredible week four of college football. Last week we saw a ton of action, a thriller in Knoxville, an upset in Ann Arbor, and so much more.
Week five looks to be more of the same with a packed slate lined up for Saturday. Some key matchups I will be watching this week are #7 Alabama vs #16 Mississppi State, #8 Florida vs #25 Missouri, and of course #5 Ohio State vs #14 Iowa.
So strap in as we talk some of my favorite spots for week five of the college football season.

Week Five Player Prop Picks

In this top 25 matchup of Alabama vs Mississippi State we have the Crimson Tide coming in as the favorites over the Bulldogs.
But do not mistake that, it is going to be a tough grind it out game if Alabama want to win this game.
One of the key factors will obviously be the play of Alabama Quarterback Keelon Russell. With this Bulldog defense being one of the better defenses in the country Russell will have to use his athletic ability to open up more of the offense for the Alabama offense.
So far in his first year under center for Alabama Russell has hit this line in three out of four games.

After an upset loss to Wake Forest last weekend I am looking for Louisville to have a bounce back week against a bad NC State team.
If Louisville wants to get back on track Keinholz must use his legs to keep this offense on schedule and ahead of the sticks. Wake Forest last weekend was able to contain Keinholz and that ultimately held back the offense as a whole.
I bet his rushing line last week as well and it did not hit, but I am a believer in Keinholz's athletic ability and think he will get this team back on course and fighting for a shot at the ACC title.

The workhorse of this outstanding Miami offense Fletcher has hit this line in two of three games thus far for the Hurricanes.
Clemson is not what they once were and it has really showed on the field. Ranked 97th in rush defense that is simply is just not good enough to compete against one of the best teams in the country.
If Fletcher can continue to produce this Miami offense will continue to hum and should cruise past this Clemson team.
Coming off what I see as two rough games for Indiana where they looked flat against Western Kentucky, and were pushed to the limit against Northwestern I believe this game against a bad Rutgers team is a perfect get right spot for the Hoosiers.
Player for player and coach for coach I think Indiana completely out classes Rutgers in talent and coaching. I know that Cignetti is not happy with his teams performances over the last two games, and what better way to prove to the doubters your program is okay than stomping out a lesser opponent?
To put it in the most simple terms, you have the 11th ranked scoring offense versus the 108th ranked defense. Indiana should dominate and Greg Schiano should get fired before seasons end.
