Friday Night brings us plenty of NCAA Football action. We are blessed with five contests on the slate for this evening, featuring a couple of Power Four matchups as well. In the ACC, we get a rematch of last year's conference championship, as the Virginia Cavaliers look to get revenge over the Duke Blue Devils. We also get NC State battling Stanford out West. As for the smaller matchups, Massachusetts takes on Connecticut, and Air Force plays Wyoming, but we will head to Oklahoma and focus on the American as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane host the Army Black Knights. Tap into our expert picks below in this showdown.

NCAA Football Expert Insights: Army Black Knights vs. Tulsa Golden Hurricane

Baylor Hayes leads the Golden Hurricane against Army. Can they pull out a win as a short home favorite?
So far this season, Army is 4-2 while Tulsa is 4-3. However, the Black Knights are 3-1 in American Conference play, while the Golden Hurricane are just 1-2. Both teams are coming off a win last Saturday, and now face off on a technically short week. Does that make it easier for the hosts? In my eyes, not so much.
Sure, Tulsa has a Power Four win over Oklahoma State to start the year, but they were also blown out 34-6 by Arkansas. I'm confident in viewing that win as a fluke. I don't think this team is very good, and Army should show them who's boss tonight on the road.

Best Bets: Army ML (+102) BetOnline
Do your line shopping, as I was able to find +105 for this bet, but as long as you get a plus sign, I'm fine with whatever. Army is simply the better team. All they do is run the ball, we know this, Tulsa knows this, but it won't matter. The Black Knights will run it down your throats until you tap out.
They rank second in the nation in rush play percentage, third in yards per carry, and are top 15 in third down conversion offensively. Will their defense have some trouble tonight? Possibly. But I expect over 40 minutes of possession in this game, and sorry Tulsa. But you can't score if you don't have the ball. Either way, the Black Knights will have success on the ground.
Tulsa's defense ranks outside the top 100 (bottom 35) in third down conversions allowed, they are third worst in rushes per game, and bottom 15 in rushing yards allowed per contest. They let Rice run for 290 of their 352 total yards, with their QB going for 155. Against Navy, the Midshipmen ran for 386 of their 481 total yards, with their QB going for 232 on the ground. North Texas ran for 227 of their 557 total yards, with their top rushing back going for 221. Even Arkansas and Oklahoma State managed 125 total rushing yards against this team.
Army will run all over them up and down the field, wearing down the defense one four yard carry at a time.
