Our first full matchday of the 2026 FIFA World Cup is here, as four matches are on our screens today. We have teams from Groups B, C and D all playing today, so there is plenty of action to be had on the slate. Let's dive into our favorite World Cup Picks from our soccer betting experts.

Qatar vs. Switzerland FIFA World Cup Picks

Granit Xhaka and Switzerland begin their World Cup campaign this afternoon
Best Bet: Switzerland -1.75 (-122) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Back the Swiss with me to win this game big. They are facing the clear worst team in their group, and I see the getting a shutout. However they have all the motivation to run up the score and net as many as possible, therefore helping themselves on goal differential going forward.
After watching Canada and Bosnia draw yesterday, the Swiss could explode to the top of the group with three easy points this afternoon. Qatar scored just one goal when they hosted in 2022, and this should easily be a 3-0 or worse shutout for the Swiss. By taking the -1.75, we have the potential to win and push for a small profit if they win by exactly two.
Brazil vs. Morocco FIFA World Cup Picks

Can Hakimi lead Morocco to an upset win over Brazil?
Best Bet: Morocco Team Total Over 0.5 (-135) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Read my full breakdown of this match here, but I think we see some fireworks. Had I not already had stake in Morocco to top the group, I would probably be on their double chance line at plus money. I think Brazil has themselves a wake up call tonight.
Haiti vs. Scotland FIFA World Cup Picks
Best Bet: Scotland -1 (+100) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
I am not opposed to taking bets with push potential, especially when betting on the beautiful game. Scotland should win this match, but it wouldn't surprise me if Haiti keeps it low scoring, which is why I also endorse the under 2.5 (-110). Haiti should not be overlooked in this group. Are they going to win Group C? Absolutely not. Are they going to advance from the group? Not likely. But for three matches the Haitians will give it their all and represent the country.
However, Scotland has a stellar defense, and players in the midfield to control possession and create chances for their attackers.
Australia vs. Turkey FIFA World Cup Picks

Arda Guler scored four goals and added nine assists for Real Madrid this La Liga season. Can produce for Turkey in the World Cup?
Check out Picks and Statistics for Australia vs. Turkey here!
Best Bet: Turkey Team Total Over 1.5 (-115) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Despite Turkey being a "play in" team, they would be my pick to win Group D, even after what we saw from the United States last night. Arda Güler and Kenan Yildiz are hungry for goals, and Hakan Çalhanoglu still patrols the midfield. Australia is simply not that good.
The Turks netted two goals in each of their friendly tune ups prior to this tournament, plus they played Spain to a 2-2 draw back in November. I see the Australian defense struggling to keep up with Turkey who will likely send men flying forward in their aggressive attack.
