Ivory Coast vs. Norway FIFA World Cup Picks
Can Amad Diallo and the Ivory Coast contain this Norwegian attack?

The Ivory Coast is going to turn this into as low scoring of a match as they can keep it. Their defense has been a staple for them all tournament, and their tactics should not change against Erling Haaland and Norway. The African side shutout Ecuador and Curaçao in their group stage matches, and gave up two late ones to lose against Germany. I think they come incredibly focused and ready to shutdown the Norwegians.
France vs. Sweden FIFA World Cup Picks
Will Bradley Barcola contribute as France takes on Sweden this evening?

France absolutely rolled through their group and I don't see Sweden slowing them down. However, I will be backing Sweden to find the back of the net in a loss to France today. Feel free to back the French in other markets, team total, on the spread, or even in a parlay with over 2.5 total goals.
Sweden's defense does not give me any confidence after conceding five goals to the Dutch in Group F. The French have an objectively stronger attack than the Netherlands, and although goal differential doesn't mean anything, they should put on an offensive clinic. However, both Senegal's top team and Norway's reserves were able to score against France, so I think the duo of Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak can at least net one before they lose.
Mexico vs. Ecuador FIFA World Cup Picks
Raul Jimenez and Mexico did not allow a single goal in any of their group stage matches. Will their defense continue to excel tonight?

I cannot understand why this line is plus money. Sure, Ecuador is coming off beating Germany 2-1 to qualify for the Round of 32. Yes, that was even against Germany's starting 11, who got knocked out of the tournament yesterday by Paraguay. I am not reading into that Ecuadorian victory too much, as that match meant nothing to the Germans.
Ecuador's attack is abysmal. It's Enner Valencia or nothing, and I trust the Mexican defense to mark him well and refuse any chances. Mexico and Spain were the only two teams who did not concede a goal in the group stage, and this host nation did so while winning all three matches as well. Therefore, I have also put a half unit on Mexico to Win to Nil at (+226).
Yes, Ecuador's defense was solid throughout their opening matches, but I think Mexico will be a different animal. Plus the home field advantage will certainly come into play.

I decided to parlay both of these teams to move on because I have plenty of faith in them both to do so. Sure, this overexposes me on Mexico, and I will be having ice soup for dinner if they lose, but I simply don't see that happening.
