Our final two matches of the World Cup happen this weekend, as Spain and Argentina face off in New Jersey for the title, and France plays England in a consolation match down in Miami. Look, neither team wants to be here. They wish they were playing on Sunday for a shot at ultimate glory. But both international teams will look to end this summer on a high note before they all depart to their different clubs. Will France secure the bronze and give Mbappe a shot at the Golden Boot? Or does England at least bring something home? Find out with our expert picks below.

Will Kylian Mbappe find the back of the net today and add to his Golden Boot total? France England Picks

Will Kylian Mbappe find the back of the net today and add to his Golden Boot total?

I'll call this match what it is… meaningless. You can spin it however you like, but as I said above, both teams wish they weren't here. However, that doesn't mean we won't get some great soccer, and there might still be edges to find.

I would expect starters in both of these matches. Kylian Mbappe is still trying to win the Golden Boot (and other awards), and Jude Bellingham is still in the mix for Golden Ball. Despite not playing in the Cup Final, both should be looking to show out.

Even if the starters don't go as long as normal, both teams have talented players on their reserves, and the bench will be looking to make an impact in a major tournament.

Best Bet: France ML/Both Teams to Score (+200) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

Since it is a match with plenty of question marks, we might as well have some fun and sprinkle on a 2-1 same game parlay. In my mind, France is going to try to feed Mbappe. Maybe they sub him out after he scores, but they should be aggressive early on, looking to get him another goal. Regardless, the French attack is stacked all over, and this could be a match where we see more of Desire Doue and Rayan Cherki, both world class talents. France should net us at least a couple, as I can't expect a full defensive effort from England.

They just had their hearts ripped out, and now they'll want to avoid getting shutout at all costs. Losing to the best team in the world in a third place match won't hurt them, as long as they find the back of the net and put in a valiant effort. France will be without William Saliba, which is a huge hole to fill, and we saw LaCroix struggle when subbed on against Spain. Both teams should score, but I think the French attack is too strong.

They were shutout by Spain in their worst match of the tournament. England wrongfully parked the bus and it came back to bite them. Both will be looking for something positive in this contest, and I think that will give us some action.

Prediction: France Wins 2-1 (+750)
