We're a week out from the 2026 FIFA World Cup! Time is running out to place any futures, so let's keep diving into some group previews. Here we will knock out Groups G & F, two of the more lopsided quads in this tournament. Nevertheless, value is there to be found, so let's get into our favorite picks and future bets!

2026 FIFA World Cup – Group G Picks
Youri Tielemans and Belgium have a lot to prove in the 2026 FIFA World Cup
Group G, like some of our other groups, is very lopsided, and fairly straight forward (so we think). Belgium is our top dog, along with Egypt, Iran and New Zealand.

Odds to Win Group G
- Belgium -250
- Egypt +400
- Iran +600
- New Zealand +1800
I'll get this out of the way now, I do not have a best bet in this group. There is simply no value anywhere on the board in my eyes. If you MUST bet Group G, my recommendation would be going to the Exact Duel Forecast market, and taking Belgium to top the group, and either Egypt or Iran to finish second. Both wagers are priced at +220.
Belgium is a top 10 team but has had their struggles recently, while Iran has quietly made their way into the world top 20. Egypt isn't too far behind at No. 29. Plus I think Mo Salah has been extra focused on representing his country on the world's stage when thinking about his season with Liverpool.
Even New Zealand to finish last in this group is overpriced at -200, although I do think that's the easiest bet on the board. Sorry for sitting this one out, but we've got plenty of other futures, and I'm sure we'll bet these games individually.
2026 FIFA World Cup – Group H Picks
Darwin Nunez is the go-to striker for Uruguay, with 13 total goals in 38 appearances for the senior team
In Group H, we have the overall betting favorite in Spain, Uruguay who are eager to have a good tournament, Saudi Arabia, and Cape Verde.

- Cape Verde +5000
Fairly lopsided. Look, I like Spain to win the entire 2026 FIFA World Cup. I absolutely HATE them to win this group at the listed price. Uruguay is a very good team, currently ranking No. 17 in the world.
Defensively, they are rock solid with Ronald Araujo and Jose Maria Gimenez patrolling the back line. Federico Valverde of Real Madrid highlights the midfield, and Darwin Nunez still has plenty left in the tank up top. I see both Spain and Uruguay making easy work of the other two teams in this group, and thankfully the schedulers let them meet in the group stage finale.
It is highly likely both go into their third match with six points. Then we get a Spain vs. Uruguay showdown on Friday, June 26 in Guadalajara. For nearly 4-1 odds (which can be found if you line shop), I wouldn't hate having an Uruguay ticket. However, I do believe they will need to beat Spain, as I trust the Spanish will run up the score on Saudi Arabia and Cape Verde, giving them the nod on goal differential.
For 50 extra cents, you could take Uruguay to top the group and Spain to finish second. I don't see the group getting much freakier than a South American upset in the final match.
