The Phils continued to swing hot bats last night as they peppered Connor Prielipp en route to a 9-1 win. Jesus Luzardo tossed 6.2 innings and Alec Bohm led the offensive charge registering 5 hits. Philly climbed back into a Wild Card Spot are they are tied with Arizona for the final position. The Minnesota Twins sit a game out of the final American League Wild Card spot. Game Pick: Philadelphia Phillies Team Total Over 4.5 -112 Lucky Rebel
This Philadelphia Phillies are an extremely frustrating offensive team to watch. I know this first hand being a Philadelphian. They are very streaky and inconsistent. After 2 lackluster offensive outputs in Saint Louis, they have responded in the first two games of this series. The Phils have scored 16 runs on their last 2 games and they are very good chance of continuing that output today, against Dean Kremer. Minnesota acquired the Right Hander in a trade deadline deal with the Baltimore Orioles. Kremer has started 2 games for them, allowing only 2 earned runs in 12 innings pitched. On the season, Kremer has a 5.25 ERA on a 1.17 WHIP. Behind him is a Minnesota Pen that is 5th worst with a 4.76 ERA. I typically like to ride this Philadelphia offense when they are swinging well and I'll do that today, in the series finale.
Player Prop: Luis Arraez Over 2.5 Hits+Runs+RBIs +145 Lucky Rebel
Philadelphia acquired Luis Arraez, who is a former Minnesota Twin, from the San Francisco Giants in a deadline day deal. Arraez has added stability to this lineup and protection behind Bryce Harper. Don Mattingly has slotted him into the cleanup spot, which gives him ample opportunity to cash this prop. Arraez has hit this in 7 of his first 11 games as a Phillie, including last night where he collected 4 Hits, Runs and RBIs. The left handing hitter is 1/5 lifetime vs Kremer but he is hitting .321 vs right handed pitching with 4 home runs, 33 runs batted in and 42 runs scored. If this offense is going to continue to put up runs, like I expect them to today, Arraez will definitely be a key contributor to that.
