Instead I'm talking about the college world, where we have four games to watch and wager on this evening. NCAA Football Expert Picks: Thursday's Best Bets – October 8

We've been betting football everyday this month, as we are in the middle of 61 straight days with pigskin on our screens. Today we are on Day 8, but first let's see how things have gone so far.

• 10/1: North Texas ML (-105) W
• 10/2: Penn State/NW Under 46.5 (-110) L
• 10/3: Aaron Philo Over 23.5 Pass Attempts (-105) W
• 10/4: Seahawks 1H TT Over 13.5 (+105) W
• 10/5: Alvin Kamara Over 14.5 Receiving Yards (-113) W
• 10/6: Goose Crowder Longest Rush Over 9.5 Yards (-120) W
• 10/7: Caden Creel Over 67.5 Rushing Yards (-114) L

Sam Houston vs. Liberty NCAA Football Expert Picks

Kam Davis has over 300 rushing yards in hist last two games on about 35 carries

I have not been good at betting on college rushing yardage props this season, we are actually 1-4. But that's not stopping me from going back to Liberty's running back tonight to go for at least 70+ at home against a bad rushing defense. Sam Houston allowed 81 yards to Troy's starting RB, 125 to Tulsa's on just nine carries, and 91 to Cameron Dickey of Texas Tech. Kam Davis should have no problem getting over this number.

He's only cleared this line twice in five games this year, doing so in two straight with at least 17 carries and 147 rushing yards. He's running for an average of 7.1 yards per carry, so 10 touches is likely all we need. The Flames run the ball over 62.5% of the time, making them a top 12 team in rush attempts per game. On the flip side, the Bearkats allow 5.4 yards per rush, ranking bottom 15 in the country. They also allow 212.3 on the ground per game, dropping to bottom 12 in the FBS.

With all that being said, I also lean with Liberty to cover the 13.5 spread, but if it gets over two touchdowns, it's a great sign to stay away.

South Florida vs. UTSA NCAA Football Expert Picks

I know, I know, I am once again going back to the Roadrunners, who have burned me more times than I'd like to admit this season. However, I have picked this team to win the American, they need a win to do that tonight, but I still think they cover this spread.

UTSA is at home and are the much more battle tested team. So far, they have played road games at Texas State and Texas. The toughest team South Florida has played is Army. They do not compare. Sure, the Bulls are coming off their first loss of the season, but UTSA barely squeaked out a win at Rice. They will certainly be motivated to get back on track with a big win at home this Thursday night.
