We are simply backing the under in 90 minutes of this match. Sure, Argentina won all three of their group matches. But then they needed extra time to defeat Cape Verde, who has been giving some top dawgs trouble in this competition. It seems as if Argentina is playing down to their opponent's level for part of the match, resulting in them "playing with their food" a bit too much.
Do I think they win? Yes, more than likely. But Egypt is a stingy team defensively, and I see them being extra cautious tonight. They only allowed a single shot on goal to Australia, in a match where they were on the defensive end for a good portion. Today against Argentina, defense has to be the priority. I see this either being a 1-0 Argentina win or perhaps a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes, either way, it should stay under 2.5.
Egypt will be spending too much time defending to even think about creating offensively, and Argentina's defense will certainly come extra focused after giving up a couple of equalizers to Cape Verde. Argentina played an extra 30 minutes last match that they didn't want to, I see them being extra motivated today to end this in regulation time.
